Collection Instructions

Container/Tube: Hologic Aptima transport tube or ThinPrep vial
Specimen: 2mL of urine in Hologic Aptima tube. Endocervical swab or vaginal swab in Hologic Aptima tube, or ThinPrep vial
Transport Temperature: Ambient
Collection: Transfer 2 mL of urine into the Aptima urine specimen transport tube using the disposable pipette provided within 24 hours of collection. The correct volume of urine has been added when the fluid level is between the black fill lines on the Aptima urine transport tube. Transport urine specimen in Aptima Tube (2 to 30 C)
